Living Room: An Essay on Teaching, Poets, and Poetry by Hoa Nguyen

Blog post for the Bagley Wright Lecture Series where I talk about teaching creative writing, poets, and poetry as a living room.  "I feel like this image captures something of my life and practice as a poet and teacher: how to really live with poets and their poetry..."My lecture for the BWLS in Seattle is set for Thursday, April 21 and will be held at Northwest Film Forum, 1515 NW 12th Ave. Co-sponsored by Hugo House, the lecture will address teaching poetics and consider the meaning and purpose of creative writing classes.I'll be leading a three hour poetry workshop that weekend, Saturday April 23 at Hugo House
