With Saturn and the Sun in Aquarius, we offer you an event of creative continuance and chance to innovate, respond, and engage in writing as a relational form of listening. Led by legendary poetics teacher HOA NGUYEN on the eve of cross quarter day, a celestial marking in the northern hemisphere known for its association with divination and poetry. Support KFB and join poet Hoa Nguyen in a two-hour workshop to read and write with Fred Wah’s Music at the Heart of Thinking (Talonbooks, 2020)

"Verse, prose, verse-prose: multi-referential yet playful. It is a book of poetics as poem as reality-expanding creative possibility. In a sequence written across books and forty years, MHT is a poetics of process—as opposed to a poetics of knowledge—that directs our attention to the play of reality and time, as being led by words to where “the wickerwack of wonder prevails”.

— Hoa Nguyen
